Murko, the Brave, Found His Furever Home
Murko came to us suddenly last fall, when he and his human survived a devastating apartment fire. The FDNY even supplied this boy with oxygen!
Great news, this sweet, spunky, energetic boy has a furever home! Huge thanks to everyone in the community who reached out, applied to adopt him and offered support.

Angel and Panda - Furever Fwends!
A Match Made in Heaven!
A purrfect example of a match made in Heaven! This beautiful Angel (with her extraordinary eyes!) was shy when she was a resident at Itty Bitty Kitty! She would retreat to the back of her crate. Nancy, a longtime volunteer fell in love with her and decided to give this girl a chance at a furever home. Nancy had also adopted Panda, an adorable fluffy tux, from Itty Bitty Kitty about 3 years ago.
Angel who was once so shy, now enjoys frolicking with her best buddy Panda and is doing great with her new family! Less shy, she sleeps with Nancy and loves to cuddle with her adopted siblings, Panda, Red and Baby!
The wonder of adoption that allowed Angel’s playful personality to emerge!

Johnny!
From Sad Boy to Thriving Companion
When Anne-Marie was looking for a new furry companion, she came to IBKNY where she saw Johnny. He was looking sad and lonely in his cage, watching Anne-Marie and her family meeting all the other kitties. But Johnny is not just a good-looking ginger boy, he's smart! He knew this was his opportunity, and he immediately started purring when George opened the cage to introduce Johnny to the family. He's so friendly and sweet..he's become part of the family and is a social boy. Anne-Marie says that Johnny "loves everyone who visits us. He has a really mischievous personality, loves to play and gives kisses. He makes every day fun!"
Thanks to Anne-Marie C. and her family for giving Johnny the chance to become the charming, friendly ginger he was always meant to be!
Thor!
The Crown Prince of his Furever Home
Thor is a sweet little guy who was with IBKNY until he found the purrfect family to call his own!
Thank you to Heather, Bob and especially Zach for adopting Thor and giving him a beautiful, loving home! As you can see from this pic, Thor has made a conquest and has claimed Zach’s back as his throne! Like the superhero he is named after, he is fearless and full of energy (and absolutely adorable!)
We are so happy for Thor and grateful to his new family! May all our kitties find such a lovely furever home to call their own.
